San Diego Cake Club
The San Diego Cake Club was founded in 1981 by Evelyn Scott, a home arts educator, and several other sugar enthusiasts.

Mission - To promote and encourage cake decorating and all confectionery arts.

Meetings - Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7 P.M. at Do It With Icing (Map). A sugar art demonstration is presented directly after each meeting. Guests are encouraged and welcome.

Membership - Dues are collected annually for the purpose of supporting mailing costs, newsletters, and related expenses deemed appropriate by the members.If you're interested in joining the club, here is our membership information and application brochure.

Newsletter - The SDCC Newsletter is published monthly. Members share recipes, cooking hints, patterns for cakes, cake show information, sugar art classes, and information from the California Cake Club and the International Cake Exploration Societe.

Our annual Cake Show Competition is held in March, and this year it will be on March 10 & 11, 2012, at the La Jolla Village Square Mall. We are located inside the mall (Map). Download a copy of our show flyer here

A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charity of San Diego. It is the largest show of its kind in California.
